Heat Pipe Composite Heat Dissipation Module Solution

Project Background
An industrial control server manufacturer had multiple high-power chips scattered on the mainboard. Traditional air-cooled heat sinks could not dissipate heat for all heat sources, causing overheating of partial chips and abnormal equipment operation. Due to the compact internal layout of the server, large-sized heat dissipation parts were unavailable. The client was in urgent need of a thin and high-efficiency heat pipe heat dissipation module.
Customized Solution
We designed an integrated heat pipe composite heat dissipation module for the client. Multiple high-efficiency heat pipes are evenly arranged on the aluminum heat spreader, which can rapidly transfer heat from scattered heat sources to the large-area fin area to realize synchronous heat dissipation for multiple points. The overall dimension is optimized according to the internal layout of the server to avoid interference with circuit boards and electronic components. Heat pipes, heat spreader and fins are connected by vacuum brazing for tight contact and low thermal resistance. This process also prevents heat pipe liquid leakage and improves long-term service reliability.
Project Results
This module effectively solves the problem of uneven heat dissipation for multiple heat sources. The temperature difference between each core chip is controlled within 5℃, which greatly improves the operation stability of servers. The product has been delivered in bulk with complete equipment and widely used in industrial control, communication equipment and other fields. Verified by long-term market application, it features stable performance and reliable quality, and has become the main supporting heat dissipation product for the client's high-power servers.
