High-Power Stamped Folded Fin Heat Sink Solution

Project Background
Our client is a professional manufacturer of new energy power supplies. Its high-power power modules failed the overall reliability test due to excessive temperature rise under full load. Restricted by the narrow internal space of the equipment, the available size for the heat sink was limited. The client expected efficient heat dissipation within limited dimensions, controlled production costs and good adaptability for mass production.
Customized Solution
To solve the client's problems, we customized a high-power stamped folded fin heat sink. Designed with high-density fins, it maximizes the heat dissipation area in a limited space and enhances air convection heat transfer. The base is milled from thick aluminum material to closely attach to heat sources, reduce contact thermal resistance and accelerate heat conduction. The product is processed with black anodization, which improves anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion performance as well as thermal radiation efficiency. Mounting holes are precisely arranged according to the structure of power modules to ensure firm installation and stable operation.
Project Results
After application, the temperature rise of the power module under full load decreased by more than 30%, all temperature indicators met design standards and the equipment passed all reliability tests. The product has passed strict tests including high and low temperature cycling and long-term aging, and is now mass applied in the client's volume-produced models. This solution achieves an optimal balance between heat dissipation performance and cost, and continuously guarantees the stable operation of terminal equipment.
